Bus route change in Montescaglioso

Please be advised that for the “66th Montese Carnival 2025”, the Municipality of Montescaglioso has banned vehicular traffic in the town centre on Saturday, 8 March 2025, from 8:30 am until the festivities conclude.

Accordingly, on the specified date and time, all FAL bus services arriving in and departing from Montescaglioso will operate with a single stop – the terminus for arrivals and departures on Via A. Moro, near the former IP service station.

Furthermore, to manage anticipated passenger demand, the company has introduced special bus services for Saturday, 8 March 2025, as detailed below:

  • n. 2 bus services from Matera Villa Longo to Montescaglioso, departing at 18:00.
  • n. 5 bus services from Montescaglioso to Matera Villa Longo, departing at 01:00 on 9 March 2025.
